The Autumn Equinox is the time when we celebrate Mabon in Avalon, and the gifts of our Mother Earth.

At the Autumn Equinox the land of Avalon glows warmly with the golden, brown and orange colours of the turning leaves, of berries and nuts. It is the time of harvesting, and the Goddess is honoured in Avalon as the Mother of Earth. She brings all our dreams into fruition and helps us manifest the life we want, in harmony with Her great rhythms of life. We feel ourselves rooted in Her love and give thanks for Her presence in the beauty of Her season, Her stones and crystals and Her creatures – like the clever Fox in his orange coat. This is also the time when the scales tip and in the morning and evening we can already feel the chills of winter.
