This stunning book created by Katie Player, Priestess of Avalon, brings alive the moment when the earth turns and we are once more gifted another day to remember who we are in the great turning of time.

The Avalon Sunrise project began as a creative response to a period of chronic illness. Every day I took a picture of the view from my window at sunrise across Glastonbury to the Tor. I would then share them online as a creative act, and as a way of connecting people to the natural world and to Avalon.

I have included the most stunning of these never-the-same photographs in a turn around the seasonal Wheel of the year. Interwoven with the pictures are poems from my journey with the Land here and into Avalon. My hope is that the book will connect people to our beautiful world and to Avalon in a more permanent way.
