At Imbolc we can already feel the days getting longer and hope fills our hearts as we realise that we’ve almost made it to another spring. The Goddess appears in Her Maiden aspect to bring renewal and the energy of new beginnings. One of Her sacred animals is the Swan and in this season, the hills and valleys of Avalon are sometimes covered in snow, revealing the swan shape of the Isle of Avalon.
